i have a love-and-hate relationship with technology. on one hand, i can see how it improves our lives, but on the other hand, i can see ways that it doesn't.
i have read books all my life—libraries are one of my favorite places. however, i don't love the fact that forests have to be destroyed in order for us to read books; that's where e-books come in!
before e-books came along, publishing a book was an arduous task. with e-books, it's easy—authors are in control of how and when their e-books are published.
i have always wanted to write books. however, the thought of going through all the hassles that paper publishing entails made me give up instantly. with self-publishing e-books, you are in control of the entire process, from writing to publishing to promoting—there's less waste & less environmental damage—thank you, technology! :)
